This is place has by far the best tacos in Freiburg, I would even go so far as to say on earth. During these times you can still get them as take-away thankfully, else I mighed have been thrown into a pandemic depression without my beloved taco shack. You are my heros!

This place is an absolute gem all around. My cure for homesickness.

Great food and drinks. I tried all the tacos, a burrito and the philly cheese sandwich, wich was my favorite. The staff is also very friendly.

Simply delicious! The dishes are optimally flavored, a pleasure!

The restaurant is actually very stylish. No cheap decoration, but most of the colors were nicely coordinated. The professionalism of the staff is really impressive. From my point of view, a detour to the restaurant is absolutely recommendable. I usually didn't want to share the dessert with my entourage at all. We have learned from this for the future and will each order a dessert next time.

My Burrito was on the table in 10mins. It filled me up even though i didn't have breakfast. I got American Customer Service here :-) including ice water :-)

Great place, very good food, very very nice staff. Can't understand the more negative reviews, the staff was always friendly, the food was great. Unfortunately, the opening times should be updated on Google Maps. Been there a couple of times as it was open according to Google only to find out it was closed after all.

Absolutely awesome! Just like at home with a Mexican grandma, the choice is not endless, but that is exactly what helps. Great taste, great drinking experience, very nice and competent staff. There must have been. 👌🏻

We had the vegetarian California style tacos which was super tasty and great. It was certainly like the American style tacos. Must try !!

Best philly cheese steak in town

Probably the best TexMex food I've ever eaten in Germany. In addition, very warm and informal hosts. If you are in the area again, immediately again!

Top shop! In terms of taste, the Buritto was a stunner. In addition, the boss was super nice and also recommended good things. The price is also okay. I ate much worse for more money and was not even full. Will probably come over more often.

Wow, best carnitas tacos I’ve had outside of North America/Mexico. So GOOD! Everything perfect. Outstanding Mexican food. I wish we had a Mexican place this good where I live in North Carolina.

The food here is fantastic! I had a couple California street tacos and they were pulled high! The flavor was great! Super tasty, very filling, and all for a great price! They also had A&W Rootbeer from Canada and it was wonderful! If you are really needing some good Mexican and even southern style food, you have got to give this place a try!

Super nice restaurant near the university hospital. The owner is very friendly and everything is freshly prepared. The map is very clear to both German and English and with about 15 dishes, but this is absolutely the right size.

Tacos tasted like fish... Seeing as I ordered baja fish tacos that's a good thing in this case. Fantastic food, friendly staff, will certainly come back again!

Great food if you’re missing that American flavor. Definitely try everything on the menu, absolutely nothing is bad here.

Simply live it the best tacos ever and very fresh food!

The service is never great here but because I enjoy the food, I keep coming back. Today was a bit different. Alexandra was a very inattentive, and frankly, rude waitress. She had to be summoned to take our orders and to pay my friend and I out even though there were a total of maybe 5 guests in the building. I’m accustomed to having to flag people down here but they’re generally nice, not Alexandra. I’ve hoped the service would get better here for a while but things have sadly only gotten worse.

Full disclosure, HTS is not quite my favorite source for tacos in Freiburg, though it IS definitely the best texmex in town... However, today's story is actually about the best Reuben sandwich ever - though not sure it's always in their menu. But ¡holytacoshack! was that ever an amazing sandwich experience. And that is saying quite a lot since I really dislike sauerkraut. I still don't like sauerkraut, but it matches the handmade beef so perfecly in this case that I've been fully converted to the Church of Reubenity, fitting coming from such a Holy Shack as this...

If you are really looking for quality tacos, this is NOT your place. We found a hair in the food, the waitress barely changed the dish, then we ordered some nachos with salad, the dark green salad from 3 days ago, which the waitress replied, which had been closed for 2 days, as if they had not Enough fruit shops in Freiburg. Supplement of € 2.5 for 10 extra grams of striped cheese in our taco, the same mix cheese (emmentaler / chedar) that you buy in aldi 200gr for € 1. Very poorly maintained terrace, very bad waitress service. Never more!

Amazing!!!!!! The service was amazing and the food was perfect. We spent 12 euro a piece and were given gigantic portions. Amazing cure to home sickness in Freiburg!!!!

The food was very tasty. Ambience outstanding. Very authentically furnished. The service was very friendly and the card was well organized. addendum: Last time, none of our round could win something positive from the serving. One was completely forgotten by the service. (Order was taken and forgotten hard). In addition, the wait was really very long> 45min. So much was not going on there. The forgotten had even wait a total of more than 60 minutes. In addition, the service at the notice of the faux pas not even an apology on the lips. Only an "ups". We ordered an appetizer (onion rings). They came only after 35 minutes. I think that if you are already eating a corresponding service should exist, which also consists of fast service.

We were on a trip and decided to stop by go get a quick bite and it was so surprisingly delicious ! We got the burrito and the quesadillas. The meast was really tender and so nicely seasoned and the salsa was alao really amazing. We even decided to take a walk just so we have room to eat again lol I really recommend checking this place out. Btw you and only pay in cash and the place has lot of room to sit, even outside !

Tasty tasty tacos. Sharp was also sharp for me. The Habanero sauce was already distributed under the salad, so you could feel it with every bite. In the end I would have preferred it if it had been served on the side - but I survived it 😅😁 Can fully recommend it!

Food tastes really good and very friendly staff. We ordered Enchiladas and Quesadilla ( both with veg filling) and they both were great.

Food was all excellent, but the prices are simply extreme. And beware they do ask for tips on top of that, American style I guess...

The food was not great but it was ok. The wait between ordering and getting out food was way too long and we could tell that 2 of the meals had been waiting for the other 2 to be finished. Cute ambiance and reasonable prices.

It's... Well it's just that good. Legitimate American and American-mexican food in freiburg. All served up in a friendly atmosphere. I've probably been six or seven times and have yet to have anything disappointing.
